This is a logo for Adirondack Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. The company combines therapy with working with horses so I immediately had the idea of a person in the negative area that is naturally present in the space between the head and neck of a horse.
Cross Dog Blues
This is a book cover I helped design with the author my good friend, Richard Brock. My biggest contribution to the cover is the illustration at the top of two of the main characters in silhouette. The book is a great read and I highly recommend it if you are into American history, the blues, or just an interesting and fast paced story.
A poster for a local band, The Remainders.
Comfort Kitchen Clockwork
Another piece made for Comfort Kitchen. I styled it after the poster for A Clockwork Orange.
Comfort Kitchen Comic Book Cover
This was a piece I created for Comfort Kitchen’s grand opening. I am best friends with the owner, Rory Moran, so I put in a bunch of characters and celebrities we are both fans of.
Jules at Comfort Kitchen
This piece was commissioned by the staff of Comfort Kitchen as an anniversary gift to the owner. The character is Jules from the movie Pulp Fiction.
A Soldier in the Alps
I was doing some research on World War I and came across an image similar to this. It was very striking. Since the soldier is in full silhouette you cannot tell which country he is fighting for. This objectivity I felt was also a interesting feeling as usually with war time photos, the first thing you take notice of is who is fighting for who.
The 2015 edition of the Chowderfest poster I create every year for Comfort Kitchen. The infamous “Deflate Gate” with Tom Brady and The Patriots happened right before Chowderfest 2015. The owner of Comfort Kitchen, Rory Moran, is a huge Jets fan so I decided to take a shot at Tom Brady on his behalf with this one. Drawn traditionally with pencil and ink. Colored in Adobe Photoshop.
The 2014 edition of the Chowderfest poster I create every year for Comfort Kitchen. The Winter Olympics were starting about a week after Chowderfest that year so I decided to incorporate that into the piece. Drawn traditionally with pencil and ink. Colored in Adobe Photoshop.
This was the first Chowderfest poster I created for Comfort Kitchen. There wasn’t a theme for this piece, just all of the ingredients enjoying a nice soak and a couple drinks. Drawn traditionally with pencil and ink. Colored in Adobe Photoshop.
Saratoga Themed Wedding Seating Chart
This is a seating chart I made for my brother’s wedding in Saratoga Springs. It is supposed to look like a page out of the racing program for a high stakes race. This was printed at 24″ x 36″, framed, and displayed on an easel at the entrance to the reception area.
This is an illustration I created for my parents surprise 60th birthday party. Drawn traditionally with pencil and ink. Colored in Adobe Photoshop.
A drawing of one of my favorite hip hop groups, OutKast.
Ben in Profile
A small painting of my oldest nephew, Ben.
A self-portrait done at 16″ x 20″ in acrylic paint.
